The examination process from start to finish

assessura supports the complete workflow – from exam creation through to marking.

  • 1. Create the exam
    Authors use an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Content can include text, images, audio, video, animations, and interactive tools (formula editor, canvas). AI-assisted question development included.
  • 2. Publish the exam
    Configure the exam package, import candidate data, and set time windows and security parameters. Available on macOS, Windows and Chromebook platforms.
  • 3. Candidates sit the exam
    Location-independent, online or offline. Kiosk mode prevents access to other applications. Screen recording and remote proctoring are optional. Results are transmitted in real time when connectivity is available.
  • 4. Mark and issue results
    Responses are encrypted and transferred to the server. Examiners log in to the marking interface. Export as a PDF document is also available.

  • Flexible Authoring & Itembank

    Drag & Drop, unlimited design freedom. Text, images, video, audio, animations, iFrames. For Maths and science: Geoegbra, WIRIS and Desmos are integrated. AI-assisted question creation included to help create your own Itembank.

  • Secure Delivery

    Fully encrypted exam packages with pre-defined time windows. Utilises native OS Kiosk modes to ensure machines are completely locked down.

  • Remote Proctoring

    Video recording, live supervision, or AI-based fraud detection – three levels, individually selectable or combined depending on requirements.

  • Open Architecture

    Built on modern open-source foundations, flexibly extensible. Standard interfaces plus integration of legacy systems and custom solutions.

  • Offline Capability

    Exams run without a stable internet connection. Results sync automatically once connectivity is restored.
