Data protection information

The following declaration gives you an overview of which personal data Krankikom GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Krankikom, also "we") collects during your visit to our website and for what purpose, and how this data is used.

Legal basis of the processing

Insofar as we obtain your consent for the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which Krankikom is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing of personal data is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of Krankikom, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

Data deletion / memory usage

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Data may also be stored if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which Krankikom is subject. The data will also be deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

Creation of log files

Each time you access the Krankikom website, temporary information is automatically stored that your browser transmits. The browser type/version, operating system used, name and URL of the retrieved file, reference URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address) and the date and time of the server request are recorded in the log file created. This data is not merged with other data sources. The storage and processing of this data serves exclusively to ensure system security and to optimize the website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Contact us

Krankikom offers you the opportunity to obtain information on various questions about Krankikom or to contact us via the website. You have the option of contacting Krankikom via the contact form. When you contact us, data such as your name*, your company*, your e-mail address*, your telephone number and a message field will be collected. The details marked with an asterisk "*" are required for this type of contact. Alternatively, you can contact us via an e-mail address provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. We cannot process your request without this data.

This data is processed in the context of pre-contractual measures that are necessary for the provision of the service offered, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. If the contact does not concern a pre-contractual measure of your own or a contract that you have already concluded with Krankikom GmbH, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR as part of our legitimate interest in clarifying your request in this way.

The data will then be deleted unless the data is still required for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. If the request relates to the activities of Krankikom subsidiaries, affiliated companies or companies with business management responsibilities and this is necessary for efficient processing of the request, your data may be passed on to the company concerned. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR in conjunction with Recital 48, as we have a legitimate interest in the transfer for internal administrative purposes. Security

Krankikom cannot guarantee the security of data transmission on the Internet. Messages sent by e-mail are not encrypted. It is therefore possible that third parties may gain knowledge of them. It is therefore recommended that confidential information is sent exclusively by post.

Existing rights

If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you are entitled to the rights described below. Please address your request to the above-mentioned controller.

Information: You have the right to receive free information and confirmation from us at any time about the personal data stored about you and a copy of this data.

Rectification: You have the right to rectification and/or completion if the processed personal data concerning you is incorrect or incomplete.

Restriction of processing: You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the following conditions is met:

  • The accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

  • The processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead.

  • We no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

  • You have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR and it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons outweigh yours.

Deletion: You have the right to have the personal data concerning you deleted immediately if one of the following reasons applies and insofar as the processing is not necessary:

  • The personal data were collected or otherwise processed for purposes for which they are no longer necessary.
  • You withdraw your consent on which the processing was based and there is no other legal basis for the processing.
  • You object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or you object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 (2) GDPR.
  • The personal data was processed unlawfully.
  • The deletion of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation under Union law or the law of the Member States to which we are subject.

Data portability: You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us. In exercising this right, you also have the right to obtain that the personal data concerning you be transmitted directly by us to another controller, insofar as this is technically feasible. The freedoms and rights of other persons must not be affected by this.

Objection: You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you, which is "only" based on legitimate interests of us or third parties (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Withdrawal of consent: You have the right to withdraw your declaration of consent under data protection law at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, please always contact the above-mentioned controller, as your rights are also to be implemented there.

Right to complain to a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR.
